Welcome

Welcome to SignLabs.org - the site where signtists come to experiment!

What is a signtist?

Signtist |ˈsīəntist| (noun)

“A person who experiments with, or has expert knowledge of, sign language”

- 2008 New SignLabs.org Dictionary

Essentially, Signtist is a term we have coined for anyone who wants to dabble with sign language: either by learning it, practising it, or putting it to good use.

How can I become a signtist?

Simple!

If you don’t know any sign language, or want to refresh your memory, then join Project: Learn to Sign.

If you know enough sign to at least hold a simple conversation, then join Project: Reach Out n’ Sign.

No matter what your skill level, there are many ways you can be a signtist with Project: Sign Islam.

Remember to visit the SignLabs.org blog to catch up with the latest updates, and feature articles.
