HalfDate.com is a Sadaqa (good cause) promotion site.

For the first half of the Islamic month of Shabaan (which this year, happened to coincide with the first half of August) the HD team devoted their efforts towards the promotion of SignLabs, and in particular, the Sign Islam transcription project, under the working title: Silent Dawah Drive.

Amazingly, not only did they fulfill both the primary objectives of the drive – to recruit a minimum of 35 volunteers for the SignLabs/Al-Qasas team, and several hundred survey participants – they surpassed them!
