the free sign language resource site… be a is a non-profit initiative designed to unite the Deaf and hearing communities through the use of sign language, and other translation tools. We encourage everyone, especially Muslims, to learn how to sign, to better socialise with their Deaf neighbours, and to help improve Islamic education for the Deaf.

First BSL Khutbah in Birmingham on 16th April, 2010

Al Isharah Birmingham welcomes all deaf brothers and sisters to attend the First Friday Prayer (Khutbah) in British Sign Language at Green Lane Masjid, Small Heath Birmingham B9 5DB, on the 16th April 2010. Please arrive by 12.30pm. Sisters and brothers will be seated in separate areas.

This service has been put together for YOU and the deaf community in and out of Birmingham.

Please do not feel shy or nervous. If you know of any deaf people that may be interested in attending or if you know hearing families with deaf children please let them know.
